Chalmersstudenter firar sin kortegeprocession i centrum och många personer samlas för att se deras uppträdanden.

I Slottskogen har folk en brasa och välkomnar våren.

Jag hade lunch med indiska kollegor från plan 6 i kemibyggnaden på Chalmers. Vi gick till Hängmattan eftersom de har vegetarisk lunchbuffé. Jag gillade det inte så mycket eftersom jag inte äter lök och vitlök. Deras soppa hade mycket lök, och spaghettin hade en fake hot dog som jag inte gillade texturen på.

Jag såg en film av Jim Jarmusch som heter ’Father, Mother, Brother, Sister’. Filmen var mycket konstnärlig och var en triptyk.

Vi arbetade i fyra timmar idag. Imorgon är en ledig dag.

Chalmers students celebrate their cortege procession in the city center, and many people gather to watch their performances.

In Slottskogen, people have a bonfire and welcome spring.

I had lunch with Indian colleagues from the 6th floor in the chemistry building at Chalmers. We went to Hängmattan because they have a vegetarian lunch buffet. I didn’t like it very much because I don’t eat onions or garlic. Their soup had a lot of onion, and the spaghetti had a fake hot dog that I didn’t like the texture of.

I watched a film by Jim Jarmusch called “Father, Mother, Brother, Sister.” The film was very artistic and was a triptych.

We worked for four hours today. Tomorrow is a day off.

It’s especially used for traditional fires, like during Valborgsmässoafton, when people gather to welcome spring.

Examples:
